“I can highly recommend red hairdressers and their team. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! There is a lot of choice in Holmfirth, but red offers all the extras not offered any where else, a particular favourite of mine is the massaging chairs and choice of complimentary drinks as well of all the latest product knowledge and advice! I usually ask charlotte to cut my hair but also have the confidence of any of the team to cut or colour, which you can not always rely on in other salons”!

"Red was recommended by a friend I had always travelled an hour to have my hair done previously as I always went home as I couldnt find a decent hairdresses in West Yorks. So when it was recommended to me I was like well ill try it but will see. From the moment I walked in I loved the salon really fresh modern funky feel. My first questions asked was would you like a tea, coffee or something stronger, sold! I was sat with a fresh glass of vino and met Charlotte who was doing my hair (i didnt know at this point that it was her salon), whilst I had my consultation of what I wanted at the time I had extremely long hair and had been daring myself for sometime to have it all cut off, but when I had been home I was persuaded otherwise it was to drastic. That wasnt the response I got off Charlotte BRILLIANT she said it will really suit you, then I was in the washing chair which was a massage chair after a really good hair wash from the trainees I had all my hair chopped off, but not only did she take time and do it in steps but was the best hair cut I had ever had (my mums a hairdresser!! dont tell her I said that). Needless to say I no longer have to travel an hour but literally 5 minutes to get a fantastic hair style cut and finish. But thats just it I have now made firm friends with Charlotte who fits me in when ever she can as my job is all over the place but also if she is not available recommends some equally fantastic stylists within the Red salon. I have recently booked Charlotte for my up and coming wedding which I know not only I but my bridesmaids will feel amazing with the styles she will produce I cant wait. Thank you to all the staff at Red and here is to many more years of great fun and great styles!!"

"Whenever I arrive for my appointment im always welcomed straight away no matter how busy the salon is. You are always one step ahead with the latest hair products. I always feel at ease in your salon, and I love the glass of wine and olives which really make having your hair done feel that bit more special.

I love the new salon downstairs it feels really opulant and expensive ... all the lovely rich colours make it feel really nice.

I never feel rushed even when i know you are really busy. My kids all love coming to the salon and always feel welcome.

Oh and I love the posh till receipt with your next appointment printed on it.. oh and I love the tvs to watch whilst having hair done

I've been having my hair done at Red hair design for three years now, but Charlotte the salon manager has been styling me for many years.

I feel very confident in going to the salon knowing im going to be coming away looking and feeling like a million dollars. The whole 'RED' experience is great. I even had a surprise pamper day for my birthday in the salons pamper room downstairs, it was amazing i had all my friends there we celebrated in style.

Ive Recommended red to all of my friends and we all give the salon and staff a massive thumbs up, good work girls keep it up.

Having my wedding hair done at RED was brilliant. It was great to be in the salon with all of my bridesmaids, the stylists did a fantastic job and made sure we all had our own look! RED gave me a great start to my wedding day!

Visiting Red is like stepping into a Parisian boudoir with its sumptuous furnishings, original artwork and a beautiful chandelier centre-piece.

I have visited Charlotte at Red for just over 18 months and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. I am always impressed by both Charlotte’s and her staff’s professional manner and genuine friendliness. Charlotte has an up to date knowledge of current trends and products and has always been honest with me about what style or colour suits me best.

From the fresh coffee or chilled glass of sauvignon blanc that is offered as soon as I arrive, to having my hair washed whilst laying on a vibrating lounger – bliss!

I didn't really have a fixed idea of what I wanted my hair to look like on my wedding day and had got a bit stuck for inspiration despite looking through lots of magazinees. However, Charlotte was able to provide me with lots of different ideas and was happy to experiment at my free consultation. I was really pleased with the style that we chose because it complimented my dress and the style of the wedding perfectly.

On my wedding day Charlotte came to my parents' house where I was getting ready. Charlotte did exactly what we had agreed without any hassle, making me feel completely chilled, which was just what I needed and set the perfect tone for the rest of the day! Charlotte was also able to recommend an excellent make-up artist. I would highly recommend Red and will continue to enjoy visiting the salon for more rest and relaxation!"
